Streszczenie
W artykule przedstawiono zarys wpływu kultury oraz sztuki chińskiej i japońskiej na kształtowanie europejskiej architektury i sztuki ogrodowej od XVII do XXI w. Na wybranych przykładach omówiono inspiracje i realizacje architektoniczno-ogrodowe oraz przedstawiono najważniejszych architektów wdrażających idee Dalekiego Wschodu w wybranych europejskich realizacjach.

The Far East in European architecture and garden art. Between house and garden
Abstract
The article presents an outline of the infl uence of Chinese and Japanese culture and art on the development of European architecture and garden art from the 17th to the 21st century. The inspirations and realizations of architecture and garden art are discussed on selected examples, the most important architects who implemented the ideas of the Far East in selected European realizations are presented.
